Infographics for Social Media

by gwoodill on March 7, 2011

Five social networking and social media infographics that have application to mobile learning: both within an organization and between a company and it’s clients from CreativeFan’s list of 60 great infographics for social media.

I like these because they are straightforward and help us to see exactly when and where certain social media is useful in a business context, how to take advantage of it from a professional perspective and just how ideas are shared within a company. Additionally, they also show how powerful the social media is, and how it’s permeated corporations culture and systems:

According to The Society for New Communication Research (SFNCR), 92 percent of executives are users of LinkedIn, 51 percent are on Facebook, and 41 percent are on Twitter because these tools are “a great way to keep track of peers and colleagues.” Even more interesting is that 76 percent of executives check these social sites at least once per day. … busy executives want to keep up with their staff, but simply don’t have time for in-person meetings, calls, and other time-consuming activities.
